Ryan was born and raised in Mississippi County, Missouri, where hunting and fishing is a way of life. He has been chasing waterfowl and the giant whitetails that roam the areas in and around the confluence of the Mississippi and Ohio Rivers for over two decades. He considers himself lucky to have grown up in such a great area for enjoying the outdoors.

“My dad and I began hunting in southeast Missouri, western Kentucky, and southern Illinois when I was just 6 years old. I harvested my first deer when I was 7, and have been hooked ever since! My passion is probably waterfowl hunting, but the pursuit of monster whitetails comes in a close second.”

Ryan also has a solid agricultural background.

“My dad and I worked together in the implement business, so I have been around farming and farm equipment my entire life. You cannot help but learn the ropes when you are exposed to it every day. I feel like my experiences with farm practices will be a huge bonus for my clients.”

Ryan has always thought a real estate career that is focused on rural properties would be a dream job.

“Premier Farm Realty Group is a perfect fit for me. Their method of evaluating properties and putting together a plan to maximize profitability is something that I am proud to be a part of. Many times land owners don’t understand that the value of their property can be significantly increased by improving the recreational aspects of the farm. Our approach is turn-key for our seller/investor clients, and this unique plan truly separates us from every land-based firm in the Midwest!”

Ryan goes on to add, “All of the PFRG Land Specialists are experts in what they do. They are all people who are passionate about the outdoors and don’t mind sharing the years of knowledge and experiences they have with their clients. I like to think I fit the PFRG mold perfectly!”

Ryan graduated from East Prairie High School, and later on attended Three Rivers College in Poplar Bluff, MO. He holds a US Coast Guard pilot license and spends a lot of time on the Mississippi and Ohio Rivers. He is also a member of Soggy Bottom Boys Outfitters, one of the largest and most respected outfitting companies in the tri-state area.

Ryan and his son Layne still call Mississippi County home, where they both enjoy hunting and fishing.

“It is imperative that we focus on preserving habitat and outdoor opportunities for not only our children but for future generations. It is truly up to us to ensure that future for our young people!”

Ryan is licensed to do business across the state of Missouri with an emphasis in southeast Missouri.
