Josh was born and raised in east Central Missouri.  His upbringing in this rural area fueled his love for the outdoors and land conservation.  Whether it be fighting the smallmouth out of the upper Meramec, pulling panfish out of the Bourbeuse River, or harvesting Whitetail from Missouri’s beautiful white oak forests, Josh’s love for the outdoors has been unwavering throughout the years.

Josh is a graduate of Washington High School and attended Missouri State University where he graduated with a B.S. in agriculture, with an emphasis in soil science.  After college Josh was certified as a soil scientist and performed soil morphology evaluations throughout the eastern part of Missouri for new neighborhoods, businesses, and homeowners.  His experiences working with developers, landowners and homeowners from several rural counties including Pike, Lincoln, Montgomery, Franklin, Jefferson, and Washington have proved to be invaluable.

Josh’s interests in outdoor conservation continued professionally as he became a Certified Arborist in December of 2012.  He worked as a utility arborist for seven years managing large projects for the electric utility industry and currently remains there now managing in a different capacity.

While Josh’s love for the outdoors is strong, spending time with his family is his true passion.  Josh currently resides in St. Charles County with his high school sweetheart, Jen and their three children, Grady, Egan and Bryna.  Together they spend many weekends at their family farm in Franklin County, MO fishing from the 3-acre farm pond, riding the various trails throughout the property, and managing the various food plots and riparian buffers surrounding the timber.  “Nothing excites me more than loading up the family and heading to the family farm.  Being able to instill the values of hard work, land stewardship and responsibility in my children has been one of the proudest accomplishments in my life.  Watching them catch fish and harvesting beautiful whitetails is the icing on the cake”.

When not outdoors at the family farm, Josh enjoys towing their camper all over the U.S., meeting new people and experiencing all this beautiful country has to offer!  He also enjoys attending and coaching his children’s athletic teams throughout the year and participating in several organizations in his community.

“I genuinely believe that when you are passionate about something you give your all to make it a reality.  I am excited to use my experiences over the years to help others secure their dream.  If that dream is to watch your children and grandchildren grow and develop a passion for the land, harvest the myriad of beautiful wildlife eastern Missouri has to offer, or invest in timber or cropland, I can’t wait to assist in making that dream a reality”.
