Zachary was born and raised in the backwoods of beautiful Washington and Crawford Counties. It was there he learned to love the outdoor lifestyle and the people he shares it with. He and his family occupy their small farm in Mineral Point, MO.
He has been a student of the outdoors since he was a young boy able to tail his grandfather through the Ozark hills. Whether in the woods hunting whitetails, turkey, or small game, trapping Missouri's rivers and streams, on the lake fishing, on the river after smallmouths and catfish, or in the horse pastures; no matter the time of year, he can always be found enjoying the spoils of the great outdoors.
Zachary is a graduate of Potosi High School where he was a well-rounded student-athlete. After high school, he chose a path in the farm and construction industries. Through his family's large cattle farm in Berryman, MO he developed a love for the care of livestock. In his early twenties, he enjoyed the sport of rodeo and ranch sorting and remains an avid horseman. He has spent the better part of 10 years as a carpenter and building contractor serving his community through building custom homes, barns, outdoor recreational buildings, and commercial restaurants.
Although he has a love for the outdoor lifestyle and a heart for people who live and work off the land, his greatest passion is family. Alongside his lovely wife, Taylor, they work hard to instill the values and morals that come with living and working the land in their two children, Wyatt and Emmy Lou.
“For me, the American dream is simple; raise your family on the farm. There’s a sense of serenity and responsibility for a man, or woman who lives near the soil; it’s fulfilling. To have the opportunity to help folks share and achieve the same interests in their American dream, it’s really something. I couldn’t be more excited to lend a hand to those who observe the rural culture.”
