Born the son of a farmer and avid outdoorsman, Clayton learned to appreciate the land as well as the animals that inhabited it, at a very young age. Ethics and integrity were learned from the seat of a deer stand, and the meaning of hard work was found in a summer hay field. Growing up in the small town of Kelso, Missouri, Clayton’s morals and character were shaped by this close-knit community.  

Clayton enjoys all things outdoors including fishing, kayaking, camping, hunting turkey and waterfowl, but his true obsession is chasing mature whitetail bucks with traditional archery equipment. Time spent on stand each fall is something he truly cherishes.
