John was born and raised in Jefferson County, MO, but spent much of his life exploring the Midwest, one adventure after the next. Summers were spent working alongside his father in the construction business, and whenever work allowed, John could be found fishing. During the fall, winter, and spring months, nearly all his time outside the classroom or basketball court was devoted to hunting throughout the Midwest.

After graduating high school, John moved to Columbia, MO, where he attended the University of Missouri and earned a bachelor’s degree in business with an emphasis in finance.

Following graduation, John returned to the family construction business and went on to own and operate a highly successful residential concrete construction company for approximately 15 years. This experience provided him with extensive knowledge of homes, construction, and real estate.

John also managed and hunted two family farms for whitetail deer and turkeys, achieving exceptional results through hands-on land management. Today, he enjoys seeing the long-term rewards of that work while sharing those same properties with his daughters on their own hunting adventures.

While traveling and hunting, John developed strong relationships with landowners and farmers in several midwestern states. Through nearly two decades of experience, he gained extensive knowledge of agriculture and developed a deep understanding of whitetail deer, turkey, and waterfowl behavior across a wide range of habitats. In addition to big game hunting, John has been an avid waterfowl hunter for more than 20 years, pursuing ducks and geese across multiple states and diverse environments, including flooded timber, row crop fields (both flooded and dry), large reservoirs, streams, and small cattle ponds - anywhere waterfowl call home.

John’s lifelong passion for land management, hunting, and the outdoors, combined with his education and construction background, naturally led him to his role as a Land Specialist with Premier Farm Realty Group. He brings a practical, knowledgeable approach to helping clients buy and sell land and real estate, backed by real-world experience and a deep appreciation for the value of land and the importance it holds for every buyer and seller.
