Raised in Jefferson County, Missouri, Bob Thompson graduated from Herculaneum High School before pursuing a degree in education. A collegiate student-athlete, he played both football and baseball, ultimately earning his bachelor’s degree from the University of Missouri–St. Louis.

Bob began his career in education in Marshall, Texas, alongside his wife, Dawn, teaching biology and coaching football and baseball. While living in Texas, the couple welcomed their first son, Beau Mitchell. They later returned home to Jefferson County to continue their careers and raise their family, eventually welcoming their second son, Blaine Austin.

Over a distinguished 28-year career in public education, Bob served students and communities as a teacher, coach, mentor, athletic director, and administrator. Along the way, he furthered his own education by earning both a Master’s and a Specialist Degree in Educational Leadership. His tenure included serving at multiple schools—including his alma mater, Herculaneum High—before concluding at Pattonville High School. As Pattonville's Associate Principal, he led senior class operations and worked closely with the athletic and activity departments. Following his retirement from public schooling in 2022, Bob continues to support the district as a Human Resource Consultant.

Outside of his professional life, Bob stays active hunting, fishing, riding side-by-sides, golfing, and traveling. Whether discovering new destinations or enjoying the peace of the open air, he views spending time in God's gift of nature as a true passion and one of his favorite ways to unwind and recharge.

Today, Bob and Dawn live out that outdoor passion on their small homestead in Jefferson County. Owning and managing their own land gives Bob a personal, hands-on understanding of what property ownership truly entails—from land management and habitat stewardship to the simple joy of having a place to call your own. As a Client Specialist with Premier Farm Realty Group, he combines his decades of leadership, deep local roots, and firsthand experience as a local landowner to help clients navigate the market and achieve their own dreams of home and land ownership.
